18.2 Dumbbells and burpees and then your best clean! Competition is at Nela CrossFit Atwater Village and starts at 7:30 pm, March 2nd. We will be hanging out at the gym after the competition is over, with karaoke/open mic to follow! Come and celebrate an evening without a bar tab!
12 Minute time cap:

Then (remaining time after completing first part):
1 Rep Max Barbell Clean (using barbell you jumped over in first part)
Rx: DB - 50/35 / Burpee over barbell with plates
L3: DB - 40/25 Burpee over barbell with plates
L2: DB - 25/15 Burpee over barbell with 5# plates
L1: DB - 15/10 Burpee over barbell - no plates
DB Squat: The rep begins from the top, with knees and hips extended and dumbbells on the shoulders. A muscle clean into a squat is allowed. The dumbbells must be held on the shoulders. There is no requirement to maintain a grip on the dumbbell the entire time.
Burpee: L3 and Rx athlete must jump over the barbell from both feet and land on both feet. Single-legged jumping or stepping over is not permitted (L1 and L2).
Only L3, L2 and L1 may step backward or forward one foot at a time when lowering and raising to and from the ground.
Clean: Can be squat, power or split clean, hang clean is not permitted.
