Alexis Piazza first started CrossFit in 2010 as a way to recover from soccer-related injury. Since then, CrossFit has been a consistent and important part of how Alexis has stayed fit and prevented further injury. He loves the sense of community you can find at CrossFit gyms, and especially at Nela Athletics. His favorite movements are squat cleans and anything that helps him bring in all the groceries in one trip. In addition to his CrossFit experience, Alexis brings to his coaching his experience as a middle school teacher, youth soccer coach, and parent. Alexis has his CrossFit Level 1 certificate.
